Side effects are minimal. You may experience mild redness, slight swelling, or light peeling in the treated area, but these are temporary and usually settle within a few days.

The treatment itself usually takes around 20–30 minutes depending on the area being treated. Including consultation, skin assessment, preparation, and aftercare advice, the full appointment typically takes around 45 minutes.

This treatment can be customised very easily to all skin types.

Contraindications include: Pregnancy or breastfeeding, active skin infections, open wounds, or severe acne in the treatment area, recent sunburn or excessive sun exposure, certain skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis in the area being treated, use of photosensitive medications, history of keloid scarring or poor wound healing, certain medical conditions or medications that may affect healing, recent injectable treatments or aggressive skin procedures in the area (depending on timing).
